In four days I get to pack my bags for Puyallup. Yippee; I'm so excited!!!! But here is the BIG question:
I'm open to suggestions on what to wear while working at the Wild Ginger booth. Ideally, it should showcase the program's abilities. Ideas? You, dear reader, are probably a better judge as to what looks good.
Also, I'm going to be spending an additional five days in the Pacific Northwest, traveling with some friends of mine, and am looking for interesting places to visit. I've seen a little bit of Seattle, but am going to be spending time mostly in the Portland, OR area. I'd love to hear some ideas on can't-miss places!
Oh, and if you're planning on attending the Sew Expo in Puyallup, be sure to drop by and say hi!!

Hi!
ReplyDeleteYou have a very interesting blog ...
Keep it up!
While you are in Seattle, I highly recommend dinner at the Icon Grill, especially their utterly amazing Macaroni & Cheese! Seriously, it's out of this world! It's located across the street from the Westin Hotel. I stayed there last summer and went to the Icon Grill for dinner. It's an old converted theater, so it's a quirky-looking place, but the food and service is fantastic. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

O Welmoed you simply MUST visit a place called Fabric Depot while you're in Portland-it'd be a marvelous place to visit for a talented girl like you! Here's the info:

P.S. Here's a link to their website http://www.fabricdepot.com Take a look and you'll see why I encourage you to visit! It's also where the Palmer/Plestch Sewing School is located.

You also need to visit Josephine's fabrics located in downtown Portland. Also eat at the Brazil Grill. Downtown also. A fun place to go. Enjoy yourself.
